“Hidden in Plain Sight,” Minnesota Emerging Artists Series at the Rochester Art Center, MN. Drywall, wood, paint, vinyl tape, poster board. Wall installation: 72”x118”x155,” orange tag: 2 ¼”x5 ½”. The third floor gallery is a wide hallway with a 50’ long blank wall on the south side. At one end of the hall, there are lines etched in the floor around a corner connecting the passenger elevator to the stairwell: the accidental result of a tape project made by the summer class two years ago. At the opposite end of the hallway, I made a wall for the vinyl tape wall drawing that is an inverse image of the etching. An orange tag parallels the safety tag on the fire extinguisher in the wall on the other side.
